The BMW Z4 convertible is a beauty and has a grown-up and elegant appearance. This model moved away from the fabric roof to a folding hard-top roof. The metal roof will make the Z4 quieter than a fabric one at motorway speeds, so it can handle long distance and the shorter journeys in the UK where the weather will not always play ball. The retractable roof flips between lid-on and lid-off driving in under 20 seconds, so when the sun comes out, you'll be ready. BMW says it aimed to broaden its rear-wheel drive roadster's appeal by reducing the steering sensitivity at the initial turn and this is a key improvement. The steering feels a lot more responsive. Normal, Sport and Sport+ settings enable drivers to adjust the throttle and steering response to tailor the car's personality to the journey. There aren't many cars as competent as the BMW Z4 convertible. The retractable metal roof is a huge plus. BMW has really nailed it with this new design
