WORKSHOP CONTROLLER:
Due to the expansion of our Service department, we are looking to recruit a Workshop Controller/Diagnostic Technician.
This will be a hands-on role, you will be a fully productive Technician, but will also manage the team of Technicians and work closely with the Service Manager.
Duties will include:
- Supervising and motivating a team of Technicians
- Proactively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help drive performance.
- Carrying out Quality Checks and resolving any issues
- Providing technical information for Technicians during repair operations.
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas
- Compliance and adherence to current legislation.
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Carrying out vehicle repairs
The successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 and have a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Technician.
