WORKSHOP CONTROLLER:

Due to the expansion of our Service department, we are looking to recruit a Workshop Controller/Diagnostic Technician.

This will be a hands-on role, you will be a fully productive Technician, but will also manage the team of Technicians and work closely with the Service Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Supervising and motivating a team of Technicians
  • Proactively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help drive performance.
  • Carrying out Quality Checks and resolving any issues
  • Providing technical information for Technicians during repair operations.
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas
  • Compliance and adherence to current legislation.
  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Carrying out vehicle repairs

The successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 and have a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Technician.
