The X5 M50d is by far the pick of the X5 range, with very nearly the performance of the full on X5M, but with the running costs of a diesel. The 3 litre V6 diesel is helped to its 376 BHP by 3 turbo chargers! The performance of this car is far beyond just a high power output though, as the torque figure of 740NM disguises the size of the car excellently. The fuel economy however is a staggering 42mpg, making this a far more affordable car to run than anything else in its class.
